Now ist79225 studio migrated to cargo and its consultancy character shifted to a more artistic and creative approach. After money, food, shelter, sex and all those assumed basic needs, humans basically only need to reconnect with nature and live a life of contemplation. This mindset must enter everyhwere in our unethical society; business and corporates included.

Below it is shown the blog entries the first stage that ist79225 studio had. For any doubts or questions please do not hesitate — send them (:

Just to state that the studio ist79225 is on.
this time i called it a studio, but i may also call it other names like an ‘agency’. this is because i do not believe in frames, i believe in impact, guidance, vision, ethics, and such empowerment values.
about the name. ‘ist’ because ‘i’ for inspiration, ‘s’ for strategy, ‘t’ for transformation, ‘79225’ for… i am kidding, the name came from my masters’ student number in college (instituto superior tecnico).
the goal is to empower you, either as an individual or as an organization, to find a better fit in this crazy world.
i will use science. i will use creativity. i will use management. science has a powerful and disciplined method to understand the effect of known variables. creativity has an infinite number of frameworks that allow flexibility to understand and design a lot bunch of outputs. management is here to finalize the bouquet, to highlight a comprehensive business analysis, because money is important even if we agree it is not the most important thing outhere.
the way i am planning to do this is by consultancy, advisory, project management, probono, depending on you. period. i will use the power of my network to foster whatever in yours. we may fail, but should we dare to try?
thanks for trying — i know you are already trying. please see ist79225 as my effort to join you in the way. lets start.]

Ideas are worthless. At least moneywise. Ideas are commoditized. However, it is not trivial that ideas are scarce. They are scarce because we have more problems than the ones we can solve, and if we solve one, another one appears. So, problems are like the Lernaean hydra. Problems regenerate faster than ideas are generated.
Why? Why do problems appear faster than ideas? This is the first question.

Appropriation is common. Incorporate in our lives the words, behaviors, ideas, thoughts, styles, of others is the currency of social behaviour, let alone status. People copy their idols. So, appropriation is as old as the process of learning. We mostly learn by doing. We learn by copying.
Why do we call ourselves unique then? This is the second question.

Governments rule us all. But governments respond to enterprises, which lobbies are strong to act, stronger than any other behaviour or organization, either individual or collective. However, enterprises respond to people. The question is immediate.
Who people respond to? This is the third question.

To answer the first question — the question of context — we can grab nature’s laws and observe that stress happens naturally and evolution takes time and uses many platforms — lets call them platforms — to act.

To answer the second question — the question of individuality — we can observe what the societal role of an individual is and see what the range and scope of its uniqueness towards the common good represent. In nature we can find many examples about this duality.

To answer the third and last question — the question of responsability — we can assess that one behaviour is a built action and its impact is threshold-dependent. This means that there is a minimum level of response upon which the outcome can have an impact. We can also question if the solo response is a response at all, and how one can effectively change something if a threshold (i.e. collective behaviour) is necessary for impact.

If we ignore the context, and let problems build faster than ideas and solutions, letting our action target only consequences and never causes, no hope will be left.
If we ignore the individuality, we will keep discriminating the diverse environment and unique rich cultures in the world, thus making the future a bad place to be — a place of the same.
If we ignore the responsability, there won’t be any society left to be preserved and we, as humans, will have our destiny tied to our desire and entertainment needs — ultimately, no place for love nor care in a cage of pleasure.

Learning the context, respect uniqueness, and act responsibly is, therefore, paramount for any future endeavour.

2023 started pumping as always, and I found that one of the editors of the American Society for Microbiology picked my perspective about Fashion and Microbiology to be featured in the mSphere’s journal. It is a true honour to have this humble work featured in such a prestigious journal. Thanks dear Michael J. Imperiale (University of Michigan, USA).

I spent some time watching a reasonable number of shows during Paris Fashion Week Men’s Fall/Winter 23 season, and I again realized that creativity is a bit dead over there. So, adding to my motivation to solve fashion’s industrial challenges, I may also have the illusion to help creatively. It is a funny thought anyway.

Another thing, I am launching a framework based on the scientific method to be used in other contexts. I invite you to explore and try it out. If any question or doubt pops up, please do not hesitate in contacting.

See you around. I wish you all a happy new year!

Christopher Kane is shutting down. Mylo is de-investing on its manufacturing.
These two facts represents more evidence of the crisis the fashion industry is experiencing.
If the inner fashion talent is not able to cope with the crisis and validate a healthy business model…
If the outer innovative projects are not able to show confidence to investors and the market…

What would be necessary for the fashion industry to keep it going?
Check this written piece to know a ‘not so good example’ example.

This is a question worthing much more than 1 million dollars.
The global apparel market worths around 1,5 trillion dollars.
And still no one has a clue which way to go. The need is urgent, there is not any other way to say it.

What could happen differently?
Some different aspects that may need a radical and different approach throughout the fashion industry:
- mindset
- supply chain
- labour legislation
- innovations
- professional profiles (investors, c-suit, technicians, communicators, analysts, etc)

Mr. Kane being out of business and Mylo’s empty pockets are a new face of
the worst case scenario.
